Terms and Conditions

All prices include VAT.

All goods sold Strictly – EFT (Electronic Transfer) or Cash.

  • As a valued customer, Laptop Solutions shall at all times endeavour to provide you with the best customer service and ensure that all your rights in terms of the Consumer Protection Act are protected.
  • All products from Laptop solutions carry a warranty, If the warranty expires or products are misused, it will be declared void
  • Should you not be satisfied with your product purchased from Laptop Solutions by reason of a defect, incorrect choice of product, or otherwise, you may, under certain circumstances, be entitled to either be refunded or have the product repaired or replaced by returning the item to Laptop Solutions Unit 20, Eastgate Business Park, 1 South Road, Marlboro, 2092 within 14 days.
  • Please follow the steps below when returning a product:
  • Discuss the problem with our Support staff. Send pictures if required.
  • We approve the return. A waybill will be raised. We reply promptly.
  • The item must be shipped to us.
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • We receive the part from you and extensively test it if needed.
  • We inform you of our findings and ship you the replacement or issue a refund.
  • If the part received is not working properly, our technical support staff will then work with the customer to try to figure out what the problem is, and if need be arrange the exchange.
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • We can cancel your order as long as you request. However, if your order has been shipped out, you will be responsible for all the shipping expenses
  • Should you open the package, but do not want to accept the received product(s). Having a reference number from us is necessary and a 10% restocking fee will be charged.
  • We try our best to deliver your desired products as soon as possible. In case you receive wrong products due to our mistake, please contact Laptop Solutions for exchange or refund. We will make exchange or refund arrangement after goods are returned

Warranty per Category

Screens:

  • Every screen we sell is covered by our 1 YEAR WARRANTY from the date of purchase
  • Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) or any manufacturing defects are covered by this warranty. Should we find the screen defective we will gladly replace it.
  • Note: damaged during shipping or cracked screens are not covered by our warranty if claimed more than 5 days after receipt. Damage claims filed later than on the 5th day after the delivery date is not accepted.
  • Initial shipping costs in case of a return-for-refund are not refundable.

Batteries:

  • Every Battery is covered by our 1 YEAR WARRANTY from the date of purchase.
  • Any manufacturing defects are covered by this warranty.
  • Should we find any of the above defective we will gladly replace it.
  • Initial shipping costs in case of a return-for-refund are not refundable.

Returns:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days from the date of purchase.
  • Return shipping for exchanges and return-for-refund is for your account.
  • Initial shipping charges (paid at the check-out) are not refundable in case of return-for-refund.
  • All returned parts must be in exactly the condition as when they were originally purchased. The part must be returned to us within 14 business days after waybill has been issued. All returned parts must have all original labels in place and be free of any signs of usage, tampering and dents.

AC Adapters, Keyboards, Digitizers, Tablet Screens, Optical Drives, Touch pad/Track pad:

  • Every AC Adapter, Keyboard, Digitizer, Tablet Screen, Optical Drive is covered by a 6 MONTHS WARRANTY from the date of purchase.
  • Any manufacturing defects are covered by this warranty.
  • Should we find any of the above defective we will gladly replace it.
  • Initial shipping costs in case of a return-for-refund are not refundable.

Returns:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days from the date of purchase.
  • Return shipping for exchanges and return-for-refund is for your account.
  • Initial shipping charges (paid at the check-out) are not refundable in case of return-for-refund.

LCD Inverters, DC/Power Jacks, Screen Flex Cable:

  • Every LCD Inverter, DC/Power Jack, Screen Flex Cable is covered by a 7 day WARRANTY from the date of purchase.
  • Any manufacturing defects are covered by this warranty.
  • Should we find any of the above defective we will gladly replace it.
  • Initial shipping costs in case of a return-for-refund are not refundable.

Returns:

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days from the date of purchase.
  • Return shipping for exchanges and return-for-refund is for your account.
  • Initial shipping charges (paid at the check-out) are not refundable in case of return-for-refund.
